Selden Headboards for Liner
Crafted from black anodized aluminium, these headboards are designed for easy attachment to the sail—either by riveting or with stainless steel liners.
In addition to the pre-drilled hole for the main halyard, optional holes for various headboard toggles can be added upon sail delivery. This modular approach allows for a more flexible inventory and reduces the number of required variants.
Seldén offers five types of headboards, designed to accommodate seven different applications. The two largest headboards (463-123 and 463-124) can be oriented in two ways: either with the longer edge facing the mast, or facing upward to provide a broader sail head. For this reason, they feature two unriveted areas intended to be drilled for a Ø12 mm toggle pin. All headboards are delivered without a pre-drilled hole for the toggle pin. This is intentional, allowing the sailmaker to drill the hole in the optimal position for each specific sail.
